Who we are
RebornBaby.org.uk is an independent website about reborn dolls, kits, clothing and accessories. We do not sell products ourselves. Every product shown on this site is sold by a third-party retailer such as Amazon.co.uk or eBay. If you have a question about this policy, please use our contact page.
Information we collect
Contact and mailing list forms. If you send us a message or sign up to our mailing list, we receive the details you type into the form, usually your name and email address plus your message. We use these details only to reply to you or to send the offers and news you asked for. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by asking us to remove you.
Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email address is never published. An anonymised version of your email address may be checked against the Gravatar service to show a profile picture if you have one.
Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This site uses a small number of them:
- Cookie consent cookies remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so the banner does not appear on every page.
- Site function cookies may be set by our shop software (WooCommerce) and our caching system to make pages load correctly.
- Affiliate cookies are set by the retailer, not by us, when you click a product link and arrive on their website. They tell the retailer that you came from RebornBaby.org.uk, so we can earn a commission if you buy something.
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading this site.
Affiliate links and third-party websites
RebornBaby.org.uk is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We also earn commission through the eBay Partner Network and the Awin affiliate network.
When you click a product link, you leave our site. Any purchase, payment or delivery is handled entirely by that retailer under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details, your address or what you bought. We only receive anonymous commission reports from the retailer or network.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Your details are only handled by the services that run this website, such as our web host and email provider, and only so they can provide that service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through our contact form are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Mailing list details are kept until you ask to be removed. Comments and their related details are kept for as long as the comment stays on the site.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it or withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, contact us through our contact page. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
